eCommerce Manager - UK & Europe:
Reporting to the VP of eCommerce
To manage eCommerce activities leading to sales growth and lowering of marketing costs, specifically in relation to online marketing actions and the development of relationships with new and existing partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure Internet channel advertising provides optimal coverage across all products/ services and maximises the sales of key products at minimum cost of acquisition.
- Achieve & exceed target ROI for all Search Engine activities (SEO and SEM)
- Devise in conjunction with the VP eCommerce and implement an online & offline marketing strategy according to commercial goals and budgetary requirements for flagship sites.
- Liaise with internal departments and eCommerce colleagues to detail and fulfil requirements for all external activities being undertaken
- Make recommendations for online & onsite initiatives to grow visitor numbers and sales. For these projects, to prepare the necessary business cases and budget approval documents for approval
- Manage the Affiliation programme in conjunction with other members of eCommerce as appropriate.
- Work closely with the Experience and IT Teams to map out eCommerce requirements with regards to marketing projects
- Work closely with external suppliers to negotiate commercial agreements for complementary add-on products or promotions delivered on our sites
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the eCommerce channel of distribution through regular reporting to cover sales, visitors and ROI amongst other KPIs.
- Developing a cross-functional approach to the project with internal departments, distributors and external partners.
- To deal with day to day queries from all stakeholders and providing assistance with queries from affiliates.
- To undertake any other reasonable duty as required by the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BA in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality/Tourism
- 2 years experience of online marketing or online business development
- Hands on experience of online marketing methods including SEO, SEM, eDM
- Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and in person
- Ability to embrace and lead change, and work in a fast-paced, customer focused environment
- Ability to multi-task and deliver in a deadline driven atmosphere
- Goal setter with a strong work ethic
- Proficient in excel and aptitude for forecasting
